I bought my dress pretty early on in my planning, and since it took six months to come in, I had plenty of time and opportunity to look at other wedding gowns. I think in the last month or so, I really started having some serious dress doubt.
I was worried that maybe I had chosen a dress too fast. Maybe it was too plain. Maybe it wasn't enough. And on and on and on. I really tortured myself. My friends and bridesmaids did their best trying to talk me off the edge of the cliff (and I'm forever grateful for their support!) so as soon as I knew it was in, I knew I had to go try it on.
So yesterday morning with CC and MC, we drove up to Newburyport so I could try it on. The second the dress was zipped up and I stood in front of the mirror, all my fears melted away. I was so over the moon about my dress. The fabric was nicer, it fit so much better, and I felt like a bride. Putting on all my accessories only reinforced that this was indeed, MY dress.

Haha! Had you fooled didn't I?! Sadly, I will not be revealing my dress until after the wedding. Trust me, this is incredibly difficult. I want to show it to everyone!! But since I'm sharing so much else about my wedding, I want to keep some element of surprise :)
